About Me

I am currently a PhD Candidate in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Florida. I also serve on the Society for Applied Anthropology (SfAA) Student Committee as Communications Coordinator.

I am interested in finding ways to engage modern issues using anthropological methods. This includes the use of historical archaeology to talk about the racialization of minorities through time; or the use of ethnographic methods to understand how the history of racism affects individuals in the modern world; or drawing on critical media studies to examine representation; or... well, you get the idea.
