December, 2004 found me tramping through China. I went for a number of reasons. First, as the current research editor for Asia with the Society for Historical Archaeology, I was interested in developing contacts with Chinese archaeologists. Also, I wanted to look at some schools for future study abroad experiences. Finally, to fulfill a life-long dream of visiting the celestial kingdom!
